Residência Segura is a place with all the Residência Segura was the first privately owned nursing home to start operating in São Miguel with the aim of welcoming, caring and supporting. We provide a high quality response to the needs of our costumers. The building complies with strict construction criteria and the spaces are bright and air-conditioned. We have 28 rooms for accommodation, infirmary, technical offices, living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry, chapel, gym and small multipurpose spaces. We have doctors, nurses and assistants available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and much more. Our institution provides residents with a familiar environment, stimulating their physical and mental capacities, in order to prolong their independence and autonomy. We distinguish ourselves by providing services that preserve respect for human dignity, equality, integration and stimulation of the continuous personal development of all our clients. With the aim of providing a high quality service, our facilities contain a set of equipment and accessories specialized in the most varied treatments. Our rooms (doubles and singles) provide all the conditions for a comfortable and safe day to day. We offer our residents a varied and tasty menu so that every meal is a pleasure. Our team of animators offers our residents a varied and stimulating program of activities. Our doctors are available 24 hours a day to provide our costumers with an excellent service. We have a properly adapted gym and technicians who carry out motor activities with our residents. When we decided to transfer our Mother to this Institution, we informed ourselves and did so responsibly, believing that this house inspired us with all our confidence. So it was and so it has been. To date, our expectations have not been disappointed. Everyone, everyone without exception, from the top of the Board to the Caregivers and Technicians, has been unsurpassed! Loving, attentive, responsible human beings who are always available, not only with the residents but also with their families.
